My Christmas Day’25

In Catalonia, the 24th of December we celebrate the “Caga tió”. It’s an original way to give presents to the children.

So I celebrated the “Caga tió” at my grandmother’s house in Empuriabrava and I slept there. The next day, the 25^th, my family and I returned to our village, because a two o’clock we had a lunch with my other grandmother. Before that, we arrived at home and we unpacked our suitcases, and immediately we went to our grandmother’s house and we had a great lunch, there was a lot of food; roast beef, soup,”torrons” and for thee adults there was cava. It was memorable. I was full for all the day, this day I didn’t have dinner. After lunch, we returned home and we received the Christmas presents there weren’t a lot, but they were so good. It was a weekend in a hotel in Camprodon. We went to Camprodon two days later, but that’s another story. 

Zapatillas

Oh zapatillas, cómodas y cálidas zapatillas.
Gracias por regalarnos sensaciones como la de entrar en casa un frío día de invierno, quitarte los incómodos zapatos del día, poner los pies dentro de un par de cálidas y esponjosas  nubes y notar como inmediatamente desaparecen todas las preocupaciones y de lo único que te tienes que preocupar es de que nadie te quite tu lugar en el sofá.
Y por esto os doy las gracias por existir.

Vacations

Vacations

I’d like to recommend a fil that I watched with my cousins two weeks ago. It was a comedy called Vacations ; the director was David Vonder and the actors were inexperienced, but they performed very well.

The main character was Jon, The father of a family. He wanted bring his family to an amusement park in Alabama, but the park was so boring. The comedy explains how Jon convinced his family to travel with him. On their way, they stop near a petrol station, and someone stole their car. Then they wanted to return home but the father didn’t want to return because his dream is to bring his family to the amusement park.

I really like the dialogues between the characters, they were very funny. I liked how the father got his family to the amusement park. It’s a realistic film because the setting in nowadays.

I thing that the film is very silly. But I liked it because it’s very funny. I really like the ending and I wouldn’t change it. I recommend this film to people who want to have a great time watching a film.

El sueño de Berlín

En el Berlín de finales de los años ochenta. Annie y George viven una difícil historia de amor, ya que los separa el muro de Berlín. Pero pese a las adversidades, cada día Annie coge la vieja bicicleta de su padre y se dirige hacia un punto del muro donde hay una pequeña grieta, por donde George y ella se comunican a través de cartas.

Un día a Annie le llega la noticia de que a la mañana siguiente un grupo de gente pretende derruir el muro. Sin pensárselo dos veces, escribe una carta a su amado para anunciarle sobre la noticia y decirle dónde pueden encontrarse el día siguiente, para por fin encontrarse. El 9 de noviembre de 1989 un grupo de berlineses cargados con martillos y picos empiezan a destrozar el muro. Annie contempla aquel espectáculo sentada en un banco del parque Tiergarden. La chica está muy nerviosa, por fin podrá ver la cara de su amado. Pero sus nervios van aumentando al ver que después de dos horas George aún no ha llegado.

¿Qué le habrá pasado a George? ¿No habrá leído la carta? ¿Se habrá dormido? ¿O será culpa de aquel misterioso pasado que rodea a su familia?

Our friend Aleix

Aleix Nadal is a boy from Andorra. He’s sixteen years old. His father is from Brazil and his mother is from Andorra. Aleix lives in Andorra la Vella with his father, his mother and his nineteen-year-old brother.

He’s very tall and slim, he has got short black hair, like his father, but he isn’t dark, his skin is very pale. Aleix has got very beautiful big brown eyes and a horrible nose. He usually wears tracksuits.

Aleix loves playing computers games with his friends. In his free time he records videos for Youtube. His channel is Mrs.Gullynfer_YT. His videos are about games that he loves playing. He likes playing football too. Every Sunday Aleix plays a match with his friends.

Aleix is very friendly and sociable, we met him on the net, he often wants to play computer games with us. He’s mean and ambitious, and he has a big heart, he’s very affectionate with his family, he loves spending time with them.
